On-Site Lectures
Trimble's conducts on-site lectures frequently on Saturdays from 12:00-1:00 pm. Check the lecture calendar on this website for the topic of the week, ranging from Native Plant Suggestions to Marinating and Grilling Your Garden's Vegetables. They are all free of charge, so come, bring a friend and a brown-bag lunch. Everyone who attends the lectures receives a 10% discount.
Garden Club Visits and Tours
We have now opened our calendar to Garden Clubs visits. If you would like a guest speaker to visit your Garden Club, please contact Nancy Leskody at 631-734-6494. Our offsite speaker fee is $100.00. This encompasses a one-hour lecture on the topic of your choice or we'll provide one. We can also bring specimen annuals and perennials with us to sell.
Or if you prefer, bring your Garden Club to Trimble's. We'll give you all a tour of the nursery, light refreshments, and best of all, Garden Club members receive a 10% discount. Please call well in advance to book.
Internships
Trimble's now accepts interns for positions both at the nursery and on the landscaping crew. Contact your school administrator as you may be eligible to receive high school or college credit.
